I liked this quote from the national weather service API:
"All of the information presented via the API is intended to be open data, free to use for any purpose. As a public service of the United States Government, we do not charge any fees for the usage of this service"
@aw free and open government, very refreshing.
For some reason, my first thought after reading this went something along the lines of “what you’re referring to as the national weather service API is in fact GNU/the national weather service…”
