@cancel so many cool animations! it was a fun time when all this stuff was starting to become commonplace… you could be regularly impressed by new demonstrations of the latest tech by people who were starting to really figure out how to make the most of it!

@amatecha @cancel Also very humbling to see what people could do with these ancient machines. I've met beginners who raytrace basic stuff who think they already need to buy a new GPU to get to the next level and like, this really highlights that 3D art is still art. Like, you wouldn't buy a high end brush if you were just starting to paint.
Now I wonder what the minimum viable low power digital art setup could be... 🤔
