Anyone out there have recommendations for a VPN? Company/service you've used and like?

This was a while ago that I asked, but I figured i'd follow up and say thanks for all the recommendations... even though I didn't listen to any of them.

I ended up going with and have been really happy with it so far.

@ckipp I've used Private Internet Access for almost 2 years now, never had any problems with downtime or configuration.

probs Nord or PIA. ive tried both and never run into issues with either, but depends on what purpose you're getting one for

@ckipp I've been using Nord for a couple of months. Unless I'm using one specific local network printer it's barely noticeable

@ckipp TunnelBear has a great UX; nothing like self-hosted if you're willing to setup it and maintain it

@ckipp protonvpn is great and the company so great and making more great services so I highly recommend them.

PIA is also good

@nx @ckipp I use ProtonVPN too and like it pretty well.

@nx I'm currently using protonmail, so their vpn service has also been on my radar, but I've heard mixed things. Good to hear that it's working well for you.

@ckipp I always had great experiences and fast speeds with both PrivateInternetAccess, or AirVPN.

@ckipp Looks beautiful. How did you find that one?

@rosano For a couple weeks I just read a bunch about the different providers. Mullvad seemed to be consistently mentioned as a solid no-frills vpn that does exactly what it's supposed to. It's minimal, easy to use, inexpensive, and consistently rated well by the privacy reports.
