started collecting my aquafaba (water in which chickpeas were boiled). i heard it has some neat egg-like properties
@eel I've seen some really cool meringue-like things done with canned aquafaba, you'll have to keep us updated on whether the homemade stuff behaves the same.
(I haven't done anything with aquafaba so I'm just going off of pictures etc)
@eel we've had it crop up in a lot of egg-free recipes (our kids have egg allergies).
@phooky i'll have to learn how to use it. i've only now found out about it, but i eat a lot of chickpeas so why not keep that water
