Lutrinus x Ponk (Leon Denise)
Okay, I just ordered a bunch of components from Mouser, here's a quick write-up of the plan so far:
Cool side effect of having an easily-updatable site
I'm going to the shop tomorrow to get parts for some buzz box projects, it's easier for me to drop my shopping list on my website than it is to find some way of sending it to my phone
Oh my goodness I've just learned a thing about The Matrix that causes it to make a lot more sense: In the original script the humans were used as neural network compute clusters by the Machines and as a crucial component of The Matrix itself.
Which is why humans who were aware of the simulation could control aspects of The Matrix - their minds were part of its foundation.
Unfortunately the test audiences had trouble understanding this concept so the studio changed the human role to "batteries".
On a more positive note, I wrote about the Olegtron 4060 signal generator, and weird and rowdy device that's a joy to make noise with and patch with friends
Really great read on function composition.
Six months ago I bought an AE Modular synth system
I'm not particularly happy with it
I wrote about my experience with the system: https://spaceshipsin.space/things/ae-modular.html
Unfinished London by Jay Foreman
A look at how cities try, and fail, at design, through the last century of London's development
With a generous serving of absurd humour to keep things lively
Our webring is now listed as an example on the IndieWeb wiki!
Unexpected synth technique.
I don't have a slew rate limiter on my modular, so I figured I'd see what happens if I use a low-pass filter instead
But then weird stuff happened when i moved the resonance up
This is all "sequenced" from two filters talking to each other with their cutoffs being slowly modulated
The output of one filter drives the VCO and the output of the other triggers an envelope
