as somebody who worked in tech but got fed up w it, i'm loving the return to basics i see, open protocols, no ads, personal static sites, linux, low-res, webrings, small communities... appropriate technology and "Small Is Beautiful"...
Really enjoying reading Leviathan Wakes at the moment! It's the first book in the Expanse series.
It seems to be one of those rare books that is almost better if you've already seen the series. I have such vivid mental images of the characters and scenes, which I think is probably testament to the quality of the casting and overall production of the series.

i'd like to sing with a group on a weekly basis, join a club and ensure i'm touching plants / moss / stones every day. daily neck stretches is another one that came up - i think that would be good for me.
What are some of the daily practices which help to keep you feeling balanced and healthy?
Three of mine that come to mind are practicing qigong each morning, going for a bike ride or walk in the afternoon and taking a cold shower in the evening.

Fermenter in progress: cabinet and tempeh making. We are testing the new shape and volume of the fermenter by making tempeh with it, in order to get the best parameters for the fermentation to be always successful. We are very excited about how it is going so far!
This paper did not disappoint! Highly-recommended if you're interested in fungus-farming ants (or just ants more generally).
