When I write C in Emacs (Doom), my CPU usage goes through the roof. Thought it might have been the LSP, but this keeps happening even after turning the lsp-mode off, and it doesn't happen in Vim anyway, which also runs the same LSP. Wonder what gives!

@gueorgui Are you getting any log messages like "Parsing <file>.h"?

That happens to me when I open a C file for the first time,
I think it's semantic-mode parsing all the header files.

You can run `M-x profiler-start` (in cpu mode), edit your file, then run `M-x profiler-report` after a while to find out what is causing the high CPU usage.
