Music instruments are finger-powered time machines. You start playing, and suddenly you're a couple of hours in the future. But you feel younger, even if your fingers hurt.

@rosano Haha, thanks :) I think I had this somewhere in a corner of my mind since I heard Coil’s Time Machines many years ago, it just crystallized in another form. Though in their case, the music itself is the vessel. I’m sure there are many other ways to perceive music in a deeper relationship with time. I’m not sure why, but I’ve kept coming back to this thought lately.
