Why did I even bother preparing pictures for my website in GIMP when it took me like 10 minutes to get `convert -resize 600 -dither FloydSteinberg -colors 9 -quality 40 IMG_20200411_1559365.jpg test.jpg`?

Actually 9 colours is a little too much for some pictures to still look nice. I opted to 24 for now.

@freedcreative It's imagemagick. Usually if you install that package, it provides a command called convert. So you can actually call it like that from the command line.

@irimi1 i didn’t know that imagemagick had a dither subcommand :o

@royniang Me neither. But I quite like the aesthetic and the filesize reduction, so I went looking for it ;)
