hendrik nicholaas werkman, "typestract" [1923-29]

It’s weird to read that I had a great weekend and not to feel it, Saturday feels so long ago, like a different me.

Either I thought another Toot and didn’t Toot it or my Toot didn’t Toot because now I feel the need to apologise for how entitled this Toot reads.

Would also be good to visit Castro with... non-straight non-roommates.

Show thread

I hosted a SuperBowl party, _finally_ visited the Castro and climbed Twin Peaks but what did I get out of it?

Show thread

I need to hold myself to do more because I feel kinda shitty that I didn’t do much this weekend

are you still taking character commissions @rek? I <3 @somnius’ tiger so much... and I’m not a broke student anymore 🙃

@rek’s Fascination looking stunning in pride-of-place. Really wish I had known about you when you did your ginger series, so lovely...

Bay Area ! Where inspires you, what’re you up to of an evening/weekend, where do you meet up? Meet-up is so crowded with corporate events and — although I’m not explicitly talking about social/romantic activities — I hate/am scared to join Tinder.

Noticed that my profiles on most platforms haven't been updated since June and since still describes me as a 'Student'. On second thought, nothing to correct.

@somnius thank you for managing and keeping this wonderful instance alive!

@neauoire thank you for all of the cool things you and @rek have been building and documenting on this space. It’s truly inspiring and motivating, and makes Merveilles/Mastodon the only kind of social network I want to partake in ^^

Hi this is me but cuuuute.
(Apologies for the lack of creative content. Following leading summer schools & spending time with my girlfriend, I’ve been spending time with my family. My flight to SF is in 5 days, and whilst exciting the move is privately quite stressful.)

A smarthome concept that wasn't absolute hell: the mid-80s Soviet SPHINX project, based on the idea that there would be a central, modular PC and appliances in the house like the TV would connect to it via the LAN. Everything was designed to be easily-expandable or pared-down as needed. It was purely conceptual but the props looked cool as hell.
