Made my own SAK multitool for $26! Bought a used Ozark Trail Multiforce (Leatherman Wave Walmart clone) from eBay & took it apart via YT videos. The steel is not as good as LM's but it's easy to sharpen & works for my needs. The bit it came with is rubbish but ordered some Wiha bits & small magnets to fix that. It's lightweight, easy to take apart, repairable, has a universal bit adapter and mostly compatible with LM parts. Extremely fun to mod! Attached is a comparison with my Leatherman K4X.
