Hello! 👋 😄
I enjoy building tools as part of a community that empowers people to control and modify their digital workflows by tearing down the boundaries typically imposed by siloed applications from different vendors.
I am organising the Malleable Systems Collective, a community that catalogs and experiments with malleable software and systems.
@neauoire Ah, it's Jacob... I've always gone by my middle name (Ryan), not quite sure what my parents were thinking there. 😅
@jryans i love the malleable systems website! always thought it was right in line with merveilles - welcome to the town!
@jryans Welcome! I loved the article about Emacs on malleable.systems , digging deeper into the collection right now.
@bd Thanks! 😄
Your blog looks quite interesting, perhaps consider adding RSS / Atom / JSON feed support for feed readers. 🤓
@jryans thanks, this is something that has been on the back of my head for a while, but I would need to invest time into getting it to work. Right now my blog and notes get compiled with a makefile that calls pandoc for markdown files. I copy the generated files to my server with rcopy.
Revel in the marvels of the universe. We are a collective of forward-thinking individuals who strive to better ourselves and our surroundings through constant creation. We express ourselves through music, art, games, and writing. We also put great value in play. A warm welcome to any like-minded people who feel these ideals resonate with them.
