been listening to a bunch of jams on /r/dawless tonight and the ephemerality of it all is mesmerizing to me. like, that music existed only in that moment in that form, and it will almost certainly never be precisely replicated again, much like more or less all analog music

that's the end of the thought. I'm just intrigued by this, esp. as one who grew up playing instruments and every performance was one of a kind, even if it was, say, the "same" marching band show as the weekend prior.
