I thought this was awesome when I found it, the word kefir might have originated from the Turkish word keyif which means to feel good

I've been drinking it daily for the past several years and I can attest, every time it gives a weird sense of contentment

Also it's delicious with chopped apples and a bit of lime 😝

@kyle I thought it was me! I recall even pointing out to my therapist that "either it was her or the daily kefir, but I was beginning to feel great". I remember reading somewhere that it's rich in tryptophan, but then I read recently that exogenous tryptophan has no brain benefits (something to do with the blood-brain barrier if I'm not mistaken). I'm currently making yogurt but it just isn't the same. Truly a mystery.
