I finally got around to making a wiki

Let me know what you think. I'm hoping it can serve as my sole container for any blog articles or light documentation on my projects. I'm excited to fill it up in the coming years.

I thought this was awesome when I found it, the word kefir might have originated from the Turkish word keyif which means to feel good

I've been drinking it daily for the past several years and I can attest, every time it gives a weird sense of contentment

Also it's delicious with chopped apples and a bit of lime 😝

I created what I've been wanted to make for a while, a priority todo list which which literally inflates the most important items.
Write a new todo in the textbox, and Return to create it. Tab and S-Tab to move between items. Up and Down arrows to re-prioritize. Press Return on an item to mark done, and Backspace to delete one.

I'm putting all my plants in the ground tomorrow, and it's going to be a big project.

Looking back, I went from knowing nothing about gardening to being a plant freak in about 2 years. But honestly I wish I got into it earlier. It's extremely therapeutic and helps my family and me to be more healthy and self-sufficient. I think it's helped me get through some depressing times.

Me at 9: "I can make anything!"

Me at 16: "Everything has already been made"

Me a couple years ago: "Everything that has been made is awful and I need to remake it"

Me now: "Gosh I'm just awful at making anything myself"

I feel like my projects never come up to their full potential. I either lose motivation or I don't wrap them up and spread the word well enough to make it feel meaningful. Any advice?

One of the more interesting loaves I've baked recently...

I have an idea for manipulation of lists. Criticism is appreciated

I would add one symbol '@' that "unravels" a list into it's contents in order to manipulate it as if it was a single instance

numbers = [1, 2, 3]
@doubled = @numbers * 2
doubled = [2, 4, 6]

So this allows mapping. Filtering can also be done similarly by taking advantage of the logical aspect

numbers = [-1, 0, 1, 2, 3]
@result = :[
r = n * 2
n > 0
]~[n = @numbers].r
result = [2, 4, 6]

I've been trying to come up with a new unique list comprehension syntax for my toy language. I'm aiming mostly for readability without adding too many special characters/keywords. Any ideas?

I've been preparing my garden beds this year and I've really been interested in the use of heavily mulching soil to slowly compost in layers to provide sustainable nutrients to my soil. It's kind of crazy how low maintenance and simple this method is while producing great results.

I should be vegan again and attend far more tea ceremonies and identify more of the plants around my home and find water to listen to and also just listen to public radio at home and go to more classes even if I’m skeptical and send more mail and finally read a book in Esperanto and get back into pickling and bake some bread and learn how to propagate all of the plants in my care so I can share them

Slow Meadow is one of my favorite ambient music artists, it really helps me when trying to stay focused or relax

Spent the day doing a much needed pruning around the yard. Getting very excited for spring to see how everything turns out.

Here's a pixelated sky simulator I made a while ago. It syncs with your timezone and weather. Let me know of any ideas or improvements I could add!
