My new reading rule of thumb is:
NO LONG NOVELS IN BED.
My progress is faster when I read them during the day, and dragging them out over long periods of time creates this low-pitch sense of fultility that's not particularly conducive to rest.
@lrhodes So do you read short stories and poetry in bed instead?
@ljwrites Sometimes. Novellas and short novels are fine, too. Just had to be something where my progress through the text is readily apparent.
