The oldest seed ever germinated was a 2000 year old Judean date palm seed, found in an archaeological site near the Dead Sea. These trees were previously extinct since the 6th century, but this one, named Methusalah (obvs), is still thriving as far as I know!

Who do I talk to about bringing more e-ink smart phones to the US market by the time my current phone becomes unusable?

I need a new fallback lunch place. The one I've been relying on is too wasteful. The sort of place that sometimes packages your order to go even when you've said you're eating there.

I've finished migrating everything off of the personal cloud software I've been running, and only some cloud space that's part of my paid email package.

Still on the fence about keeping my hosted server for my public-facing site, or moving everything to a blog hosting service. Leaning toward the former, mostly because I don't know of a service that would let me render everything as static pages.

Okay, so apparently that was the wrong way to change the admin password on my server…

I'm liking the idea (implicit in @johannesg's zim wiki suggestion) of building to html on the desktop and uploading to the server from there. So maybe part of what I want is a feeling of directness in the tools I'm using. Currently researching ways to make that process as streamlined as possible.
