hello, i'm rozina (you probably know me from post.lurk.org), and i'm an artist, a creative coder, and experimental electronic musician (as well as being many other things). i decided to join this instance because i like the small close knit community feel that this instance has. i believe that technology should center around sustainability and longetivity (as well as being a firm believer of the right to repair, and using foss tools wherever i can), so i think i'll fit right in.

Little impressions from todays hike. I just love this time of year.

This landscape is formed by several now extinguished volcanoes. The forest is just gorgeous and the air pure.

The rock on the chain is a mystery to me. Maybe it tried escaping?

My uncle just finished 1.6 kg, 700 pages long dictionary of Northern Sami, a language spoken by around 20,000 speakers.

Sami are an indigenous people who have inhabited large parts of Northern Europe spanning from Russia to Norway for millenniums.

He has dedicated his life to advocate for their rights and preserve their languages and culture. This book is a major contribution in an effort to ensure that this ancient language will be passed on to future generations.

Heard this on NTS on Friday while driving to Cumbria, got S to note the time, just managed to do some sleuthing to find it, brilliant modern electro track, make sure to play far too loud: Gamma Intel - Hall Quantity [Ganzfeld] 2021: youtube.com/watch?v=e7UcSzKBTo

So before today i had a quiet surface level knowledge of Ruby, but today studying up on Rails for some URL directing work I learned this is really fun and quick to work with... scaffolding is really intuitive and just works.

After a friend told me sublingual estradiol tablets take 10-20 minutes to fully absorb, and although i know it must be closer to 4-7 from my own experience with how they dissolve and also just trusting the rapidity of uptake by the sublingual blood vessels, i can't help but worry I've been wasting so much of my E every time it gets to a sloshy paste and eventually gets swallowed after like 4 minutes.....

I say this because the way my school teaches pricing is like plumbers being taught how to make pipes and valves by hand. Id rather be plumbing real shit. Its impractical.

After perusing a book on the topic from the school library the answer is unequivocally yes.

Revel in the marvels of the universe. We are a collective of forward-thinking individuals who strive to better ourselves and our surroundings through constant creation. We express ourselves through music, art, games, and writing. We also put great value in play. A warm welcome to any like-minded people who feel these ideals resonate with them.
