@metasyn I saw the cards at a Daisy in LA for like a dollar or two and remembered I used to play an old DOS hanafuda game when I was a kid. TBH my main motivation is the cards are so pretty

@metasyn I otherwise just learned it by playing a ton of solitaire games to memorize the suits (still learning that) and am just getting started trying to memorize the groups for koi koi. I love strategy games that are short-ish (aka not risk/XCOM) so this is right up my alley
