It doesn't seem like anybody doing a community project could compete against giant corporations in trying to serve people in the capitalist market.
Theoretically one can extract their project from the market and aim fully towards serving their community while still surviving, and there are good examples.
I guess I'm just musing on the capability of myself and others to only touch the capitalist world enough to not die while still trying to fight against it.
@milofultz A bit on the abstract side, but The Care Manifesto is a timely book on this topic. https://www.versobooks.com/books/3706-care-manifesto
Revel in the marvels of the universe. We are a collective of forward-thinking individuals who strive to better ourselves and our surroundings through constant creation. We express ourselves through music, art, games, and writing. We also put great value in play. A warm welcome to any like-minded people who feel these ideals resonate with them.
