Stop giving away your work to people who don't care about it. Host it yourself. Distribute it via methods you control. Build your audience deliberately and on your own terms

oh, wow
"Each Chinese character is described as a combination of components. These components can be other characters or radicals, as well as building blocks, which defines the simplest shapes that make up every component. Combination can be applied recursively to describe ever more complex glyphs."

i couldn't resist to make a totally autofictional alternate index page of my website, and it feels much more true than the original:

i will put it here on the mastodon links instead of the original, so one can use merveilles to shift reality

Since I know how to use a soldering iron thanks to my mechanical keyboards frenzy, I tend to disassemble any electronic device that stopped working and try to fix it.

It turns out that most of the time, it's a stupidly cheap and basic component that needs to be replaced, or a wire that needs to be re-soldered. And it feels so much better than buying new stuff...

programming is a murder mystery where you are the murderer but also the victim and also the detective and also the second cop who makes a face and says "bad luck, that. What are we thinking? Robbery gone wrong?"

@neauoire hey welcome back!

while you were away i moved my orca snippets here:
there are some new ones:

change.orca outputs a bang each time the input is different from the last input

once.orca outputs just the first from a series of contigous bangs

double.orca doubles the right A input

and i don't know if you already checked out delay.orca, it delays the input value using a L loop
