@peregrine The graphics themselves are not that strange for the ST (It was the "jackintosh" - planned to be both Amiga and Macintosh killer), but the shadows are crazy!

It took some heavy lifting to implement them. Atari ST can display only 16 colors at once, so I think there's some clever mid-draw palette swapping happening there. This is on top of reacting to the environment!

This level of (attention to) detail is not something you'd see on the 16bit micros.
