I feel like I remember a way to set up a link where if it ends up dead, it redirects to an archive of it, is that a thing?

I remember reading it in an article called like "the internet is rotting" or smth

Wanting this to have reliable links for my podcast, so an extension that just does this for me or something similar is not what I need (though i would be interested in hearing about it)
