I like 'harmony' as a metaphor for healthy human/community interactions.

What makes it neat is that 'harmony' does not imply 'same-ness': two equal pitches sound very boring, to have a 'nice harmony' you actually need different pitches that 'go well together'. Adding some dissonance to the 'classical' harmonies makes things more interesting - though your appetite for dissonance is different from time to time, person to person, and depends on context. Harmonies change and evolve over time.

@raboof kind of think some dissonance is necessary because people just don't agree on the music..

@raboof this reminded me of the ”many voices one song” metaphor that is used for sociocracy, and broadly for the same reasons. the way how you put it is more clear and straightforward though, i like it.
