Something outside banging on the hull this morning. Thought it was a log, it's always a log, but it was a big sheet of ice? :O
"Why I still use RSS...I firmly believe the Internet, and what it stood for, peaked with RSS....Having only the content I want to see only be shown when I want to see it with the freedom to jump between readers as I please, all with no ads? For me, no other service comes close to the flexibility, robustness, and overall ease-of-use that RSS offers."
Made grilled 'cheese' sandwiches for dinner. Been a while since I've had that ^_^.
Cheese made with sunflower seeds and many other delicious ingredients (not cultured tho). Would like to experiment with seed cheeses, anyone here make their own?
Reading A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold. It's exactly what I wanted to read right now.
It's a collection of essays on his relationship with nature. Leopold has an approach to land ethics that I share, that seeks to include nonhuman members of the biotic community (collectively referred to as "the land").
It is really lovely so far, a balm for the soul.

A term coined by Aldo Leopold, in the book From A Sand County Almanac

We improvised a hanging double-bed by building a bunch of slats, and running them through the lee cloth slides!
