.....Ohhh, all right, all right!

Exclusive Merveilles Inverted edition, happy holidays ya nerds ⚗️

It hung in my HS chemistry teacher's classroom, behind the standard table, and was never shown in class. It nearly disappeared from the web, so I chose to reproduce it as closely as possible in Illustrator, and upload it for free. A couple mistakes in the curve (between silicon and scandium) haunt me, but they labeled it a Quality Image, and it has the blessing of the original creator's family, so I'm very happy with how it all turned out ☺️

I keep forgetting I'd done this project, two years ago now. If you like chemistry, color, vector graphics and data visualizations, you might enjoy James Franklin Hyde's periodic table of elements from 1975:

I don't know if this is anyone else's cup of tea, and I haven't played the game yet myself, but apparently SOMA is free on GOG right now.

this c64 game that just came out 2 days ago is extremely cool looking:

I write code to craft devices that generate visuals and music, mostly by using openFrameworks, cheap computer things and duct tape.

I also craft alphabeths and practice asemic writing.

you can find most of my things on my website:

also for reference: a picture of a coffee and me

I should clarify that it's no longer a Flash animation.

Codepen for the curious:

Fuck, it is LATE. Nighty night, Merveillites

My first resumes and portfolios had a little Flash toy of swirling DNA in the corner. I'm bringing it back, and incorporating my signature color palette into it. A media query hides it, and toggles its animation.

This sort of thing will always be more intuitive than me than basic CSS, skillset marketability be damned.

I did it, guys. I made a ful 30min orca session. I was a little shy with changing big structures though

@neauoire Hi! I've built out a list of my projects, including my collaborations with IOO⠛ , and I want to make sure what I've written has you guys' approval:

I realize it's not very readable at the moment, but is the content okay? Let me know if you want anything changed

:drake_dislike: too many people want to be artists and we need to gatekeep harder

:drake_like: capitalism has produced a society that undervalues creative work and forces people to work long hours, leaving little time to pursue creative interests. people attempt to square this circle by pursuing art as a living, but capitalism is only interested in profit and paying workers as little as possible, forcing artists to pursue only commercially viable projects and fight over crumbs at that
