advice from user `maryamin` on twitter re: Iran/US missile strikes

"We are all terrified but control yourself and do not have any terrifying predictions in mind. Cry. But don't write scary tweets about something that hasn't happened. Don't run in advance. Have mercy on each other. The horror makes one crazy. Hold the hand of a real person sitting next to you."

I guess it means we should buy less electronics?

It's almost the year 2020 and despite huge reverberations around the planet about climate catastrophes, there are people currently rubbing their hands at the prospect of haphazardly scraping areas of ocean floor that we know little about, shrugging at the thought of consequences to the aquatic life there and by extension to ours (I assume they understand food chains well). What world do these people live in?

One more little video because it still amazes me that this Sublime-style text manipulation has been possible in a browser for so many years and I can just drop it into my notes app - thank you @marijn for CodeMirror 🙏🏽

That .ICEauthority file name did not age well

Here we go. A public functional beta be careful please prototype of my notes app based on Notational Velocity hyprnote.com/write – data sync via @remotestorage, some Sublime Text keyboard shortcuts, [[double-bracket interlinking]], works nicely offline and on mobile too. Yellah habibi.
