Experimenting with fermenting vegetables. I have no idea what I'm doing.

@rostiger Just add enough salt and keep everything under liquid surface.

@maleza Under liquid surface? The salt drains the water from the vegetables, but other than that I added no liquid. Should I?

@rostiger If it still does not cover the vegetables yup, add some water.
Some has enough liquid, for example cabage. Others like carrots don't.

@rostiger And ideally, leave as little air space as possible.

@rek Uh oh, that's not the case for the tomatoes. I experimented with different weights. Red Cabbage has the cabbage core, carrots half an apple and tomatoes a glass pressed down by the lid. Oh well - I'll see how it goes!
