After yeeeaaaars of being in the furry fandom, I'm finally getting a reference sheet of my tiger-self!
I always liked the idea of fursonas since they allow a lot of introspection and play with your identity and sense of self. Somnius is an idealized version of who I want to be and it's really exciting to work with an artist to solidify the details about them. It's like they're finally becoming alive! Plus, it'll be so much easier to get more art with myself or with friends in the future.
@somnius nice :) I was just telling @jyolyu the other day about when you told me the connection between fursona and fluid identities. Gave me a new perspective on furry and other fandoms / internet cultures that play with identity.
