looking at the sudden influx of new fedi users everywhere, now i see what it meant to 'collapse early'
@cblgh i follow a bunch of people from other instances working hard at the soft 'onboarding' process in the last few days, posting guides/tips/best practices when transferring from bird website. As for not noticing the change, that's probably a good thing about instancing, yeah? :)
@tomasteck where are you seeing this? everyone’s exclaiming about the situation but i haven’t noticed a difference yet, other than existing follows posting re-introductions :o
