The biggest challenge in my life is getting enough sleep. I'm an abysmal sleeper, everything wakes me up, i take forever to fall asleep, i have a 5 year old child that wakes up between 5 and 6. This means I'm very tired most of the time and I feel like I'm operating at 20 IQ points below optimum, have trouble with focus and motivation.

I have been trying to switch to sleeping 21:00 to 05:00, the theory being I'd get a lot less interruptions from the child, but after a week of this I just realise that this means giving up almost all of my 'me' time. Maybe complaining about it here will help?
