Yes! Hours of measuring video related signals with my scope and I find a problem on the LUMA_IN channel of the composite encoder. It passes LUMA_OUT through an external 'delay line' and back in to LUMA_IN.. but the signal never returns from the delay line. If I carefully short LUMA_OUT to LUMA_IN for just a moment, the composite video signal syncs (though it's a bit ghosty?). When I remove the short, the sync is lost. This is great! It means the internal video signal before the composite encoding is good, so with the right cables (and a 15KHz compatible display) I can see the video output, or I can look into replacing the delay line...
