I needed a way to share project status with clients because email was getting out of control.

Solutions in order of consideration:
→ App with all the features (e.g. Asana, Kanban board)
→ Small self-hosted CMS
→ Markdown to HTML renderer
→ Just a plain text file

I host this over HTTP and the client can see the status any time. There's *no* software to break. Some python versioning snafu can't even ruin a basic Markdown script. I think it's pretty nice.

I don't think I can get my clients to read it over Gemini or Finger protocol though. 😉

I am finding myself reaching for the no-software or low-software solutions these days since everything is such a mess. I am beginning to wonder if the Canon Cat was peak computer: a killer typewriter with Forth. I haven't tried it for myself, but I think it would be a lot harder for infinite monkeys to make a similar mess when constrained to that environment.

@winduptoy The Cat looks really interesting, and tForth seems like a cool implementation but I've not seen an emulator anywhere other than a MAME attempt, but I don't know if it actually works as I'm not familiar with MAME. github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/m)

@inscript Woah! That would be cool to play with!

@neauoire Ever since I saw your LEAP implementation in Left I've been scrutinizing spacebars for being too wide, something I've never considered before. The LEAP keys shouldn't require me to stretch!
