I've made granola before, but this recipe is definitely our new favorite - crunchy and flavorful without being too sweet or over the top.
Paired with homemade organic yogurt and it's a real breakfast treat. 🙂

Today I learned that iPhone cannot send pictures or files over Bluetooth. You need some third party app for that, or use the Internet. The future is amazing.
Yet more comments coming in from people who seem to be unaware that the humble footnote has existed, essentially forever, without interrupting the text.
I cannot understate how huge, far-reaching, cascading, and valuable simplicity is, especially here with Gemtext.
As a society we've had the simplicity beaten out of us. Why do you think computers are the way they are?
I think Gemtext might be the most important gift we've been given from the Gemini project, maybe even better than the protocol itself. Using Gemtext was 99% the entire point of Lichen. I'm not adding Markdown, and you should only do so at your own peril.
People keep asking "why no markdown support in #Lichen?" I've spent a great deal of time thinking about it.
Gemtext is truly better: it supports all the richness of a good book, and the ability to link or reference other information.
Hypertext inline links are just a gimmick, a technical trick that we've grown used to. How many times has the ability to "click here" made the written content better or deeper? Zero.
I challenge you to at least try writing without inline links. It's not hard.

Directory creation and deletion is now possible in the file manager. Gemtext spec is followed more strictly thanks to @aw. A typo was fixed thanks to @milofultz.
To upgrade just replace the three PHP files under /cms.

Transplants are in and enjoying the cloud cover and gentle rains today. We planted a bit differently this year - experimenting with intentional, strategic interplanting - to observe the effects on plant health and resilience, diversification of soil biology, and beneficial insect support (and their role in pest management). For example in the first bed we have indeterminate tomatoes, hot peppers, basil, marigolds, and sunflowers all intermingled with appropriate spacing and placement.
I'm happy to introduce our new ultra-low tech CMS for smol, accessible websites. The goal was to make something that could be self-hosted, but friendly enough for people who don't SFTP or use a terminal. 3 PHP files, Apache, and Gemtext. Should work on any dumb old Apache host; a technical person could manage many of these for friends and family with zero maintenance. Happy to answer any questions or take bug reports.
