Does anyone know the carbon footprint of an ice cube?

I guess that was expected, but we just all realized that half of is in the ICE train from Saarbrucken to Paris this morning.

We should have planned a BoF or a workshop of some sort.

Hey, I did not know it was a "bring your own cat" at .

Cool to say hello to team at the train station, though.

"The 3rd milestone will give us the means to design and develop features that Facebook and the like have no interest in giving their users: group self-management, messaging, multiple identities, and external tool management."

Hey, I didn't see but @mobilizon reached one more goal in its crowdfunding campaign! Looks like we'll get another ActivityPub-enabled tool here 🎉

Congrats @Framasoft!

We are still suffering from, what I'm going to call, the Lenna problem in some presentations.

Let's stop using sexualized images of women in presentations. It does not serve the project nor the community in any way.

It just occurred to me that what is so great about the Libre Graphics Meeting, having the developers of , , , , etc. all in the same place for a few days, is a huge risk for the free/libre graphics community. Let say really serious food poisoning happens or something, we would loose the whole development team of the entire libre graphics pipeline in just one meal. 😱 I'm going to start asking each of these projects to leave a dev at home when happens. 😉

Inspired by a presentation by @aiscarvalho and @rlafuente, we ask you: supposing these 3 terms describe the same thing, which one would you prefer? #lgm19

For those wondering what the Libre Graphics Meeting is all about, we have this great video presentation recorded during our 2018 gathering.

@n8 You left our Libre Graphics Meeting early for another conference, you said. But I don't see those toots about it anywhere. Is that the new excuse? "Sorry, I'm at this other conference" 😜

" came to life 10 years ago because there was not much free software to do this at the time. was closed source at the time. Thanks for not open sourcing it sooner, I guess. " Johannes Hanika at

I did not know that CI/CD was a such an explosive topic for a Sunday morning.

The look this year involved colorful sunnies. Thank you @pippin and @KnowPresent for modelling.

"You give it some input, you ask it to guess the result and you punish it when it's wrong. That's how you train a machine."

Probably the simplest most accurate explanation of I heard at during Douglas Bagnall's talk.

Yesterday, at , we found ourselves talking about "ultrageranium" and "rra" with @crickxson and a few others. And you could tell from the group reaction who was not active on Mastodon. Because everyone in that group actually knows who Aymeric and Roel are.

Funny how online activity influences how we start naming the people we know. @rra @320x200

I have the impression I saw toot pass by here that was explaining how to contribute to a repo without a Github account. Something that involved email or something. Did I hear this right? If so, can someone point me to an article explaining the steps to do this? Thank you.

Help us put this account on the front page of the #fediverse by boosting this toot. 😜
